Never Forget Garden Activity Day

Help us commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of Unknown Soldier, and in celebration of the month of the military child, join us for a spring “Never Forget Garden” activity day. Help us start our “Never Forget Garden” and learn the history of the gardens and the tomb. Check out the schedule below:

Schedule of Events

Never Forget Garden Cart (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.): Help us start our Never Forget Garden and take home some seeds and dirt to start your own.

Never Forget Garden Crafts (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.): Make your own flowers for our indoor Never Forget Garden.

Scavenger Hunt (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.): Explore the Memorial using one of our scavenger hunts. Finish your hunt and possibly get a prize!

Guided Memorial Tours (11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.): This 45 minute tour will give you an overview of the Memorial and exhibits, including our newest exhibit The Color of Freedom.

These events are in support of our partnership with the Society of the Honor Guard to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
