Panel Discussion: The Grace Project Athena Division

A photographic exhibit, expert panel, and artist reception all featuring key aspects of breast cancer awareness and both military women and women veterans is slated for October 1, 2022, at the Military Women’s Memorial.
The exhibit runs from September 25th through October 9th with a panel discussion event on October 1st, 2022. The panel of nationally recognized speakers is 1-2 pm. It will be live-streamed and include the opportunity for audience questions. Business casual dress is suggested for the day.
The artist reception from 2-4 pm. provides access to this amazing artist, some of the subjects, and a handful of women veteran authors involved in the overall Breast Cancer Awareness Coalition who will be available to sign their books carried by the memorial gift shop.
The Grace Project is an empowering photographic project by internationally recognized fine art photographer Charise Isis capturing the courage, beauty, and grace of those who have undergone treatment and/or surgery as a result of breast cancer. The Athena Division is a chapter of the Grace Project, focused specifically on those that have served in the military.
This unique and thought-provoking exhibit is free and open to the public, Monday – Saturday, 9 am thru 5 pm, Sundays, 12 pm thru 5 pm.
