Join us at the Military Women’s Memorial this Women’s History Month for a special screening of The Six Triple Eight—the powerful story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-female, predominantly all-Black unit to serve overseas during WWII.
These 855 women cleared a three-year backlog of 17 million pieces of mail, lifting morale on the front lines with their motto: “No mail, low morale.”
🎤 Special Guest: Elizabeth Helm-Frazier, U.S. Army (Ret.), has long dedicated herself to preserving the legacy of the 6888th Postal Directory Battalion.
She helped lead fundraising efforts to build a monument at Fort Leavenworth honoring the 6888th’s extraordinary service and served as a producer of the acclaimed documentary “No Mail, Low Morale,” which shares their powerful story.
Her deep admiration for the women of the 6888th—and her personal connections with some of its members—shine through each time she speaks, bringing meaningful historical insight and heartfelt perspective to their legacy.
Don’t miss this inspiring afternoon honoring the women who made history—and changed it.
