Military Women’s Memorial Chief of Staff
Inspired by her grandmother’s service, Robin enlisted in the Ohio National Guard at the age of 17. She commissioned as an active-duty Army officer through The Ohio State University ROTC in 1999. Her career highlights include Commander, 526th Brigade Support Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Strategic Initiatives Group, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Special Assistant to the 18th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (General Martin E. Dempsey), Support Operations Officer for the 3d Cavalry Regiment, Commander, A CO, 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, and Employment Director for the Soldier For Life program. During her 20+ years on active duty, Robin earned her Airborne, Air Assault, and Pathfinder badges and deployed five times to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve.
Robin retired from the Army and joined the Military Women’s Memorial team in April 2020. When not working, she enjoys supporting her husband’s Army career as a military spouse, raising their two children, and performing stand-up comedy. She is passionate about advocating for the military community, championing women veteran initiatives, and using humor to help the military community cope with the unique challenges they experience.
