Lachrisha Parker

Master Sgt. (Retired) Lachrisha Parker is a proud native of Fort Wayne, Ind., with 28 years of honorable and distinguished service to the nation. She retired from the Army in September 2018 and currently, she serves as the Community Engagement Manager for the Military Women’s Memorial.

Prior to joining the Memorial, Parker served as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer of the Bluestone Group LLC, an international professional service company located in Washington, D.C. Parker is a Top 10 Finalist from the 2019 Ms. Veteran America competition—winning two Awards for “Top Talent-Showstopper” and “Top Evening Gown-She Wears it Well”. Ms. Parker was appointed as one of 12 elite personnel to advise the Department of Veteran Affairs, (Center for Women), Advisory Committee Member on Women Veterans. She also has volunteered as a dental assistant with Mission of Mercy in Fredrick, Md., and served at Walter Reed National Military Medical CenterBethesda, Restorative Dental Clinic as a dental assistant volunteer. 

Her previous assignments in a wide array of leadership positions, including Alert 2K area leader, Assistant Color Guard non-commissioned officer (NCO), Senior Training and Operations NCO, Casualty Assistance NCO, Battalion S-1 NCOIC, Equal Opportunity Leader, Victim Advocacy Leader, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program NCO, Executive NCO to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Executive NCO to the Director of OCAR Staff and as the Executive NCO to the Director of the Operation and Training, to the Office of the Chief of Army Reserve (OCAR), Fort Belvoir, Va.

Parker is a graduate of the Adjutant General Corps Basic and Advanced Courses, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic and Advance Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Security Manager Course, Company Trainer Course, SHARP Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, HR Plans and Operation Course, DEOMI Leader Team Awareness Course, Reserve Component National Security Course (National Defense Institute). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College. Parker and her husband Reggie (Army veteran) have five children: Amber, Kia, Desmond, Keyana, and Reginald Jr. (R.J.), and their family dog “Boss” and currently resides in Maryland.
