Still Time to Save, Help Memorial, at the Commissary

There is still time to help the Women's Memorial Foundation while saving money on purchases during the annual "Salute the Women in the Military" campaign, which runs through Sept. 10. The campaign generates funds for the Women In Military Service For America Memorial Foundation. When you purchase selected items from a commissary, participating manufacturers donate a portion of the proceeds to the Foundation.

This year's participating manufacturers include: ACH, M&M Mars, Dial, Marcal Paper, Newman's Own, Schiff Nutrition, Abbott Labs, AIPC's Mueller's and Golden Grain Pasta, Mars Frozen, Sunny Delight, Wrigley, Sunny D, and Miliken Chemical's Capture Carpet Cleaning.

Check the commissary display for the Salute the Women in the Military flyer, which contains valuable coupons. The campaign also offers eligible commissary patrons the chance to participate in a drawing for a special gift. This year's gift is a commemorative military tribute boxed pen.

Since the "Salute the Women in the Military" Commissary Campaign began 16 years ago, more than $716,000 has been generated for the Foundation.
