Disabled GWOT Veterans Invited to Entrepreneurial Bootcamp

Disabled veterans of the Global War on Terror (GWOT) who desire to launch or grow their own business are invited to a different kind of training—the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV). Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, developed the course and brings in national business experts to help students during the program. Graduates also receive ongoing mentorship as they work toward business ownership (or growing an existing business).

Any post-9/11 active duty, National Guard, or reserve veterans who have a service-connected disability, as well as a strong desire to start their own business, may attend the nine-day course free of charge. Courses are offered at Syracuse University as well as at the following partnering universities: Florida State University, Texas A&M University, and the University of California-Los Angeles. The sponsoring university covers program costs as well as transportation and lodging expenses. For more information about the program, and to register, visit the EVB information Web site.
